Over the past two decades traditional libraries in Pakistan have been in a state of desolation largely due to the rapidly growing influence of electronic media in Pakistan. Launched various name channels providing information about religion, information, entertainment, film TV drama, cartoons, fashion, economy, business, agriculture, animals and birds....
 
In such a situation, young people go to libraries and read books. With the rise of social media over the past decade large numbers of young people have begun to use it freely to express their views freely.
Internet and mobile phone service providers Companies have taken advantage of this by introducing packages for a few rupees, so young people started using computers, laptops, mobile phones till late at night. And older people were also embraced by the youth Instead of using them positively, the majority started talking nonsense, loading vulgar pornographic material and promoting dance songs, the negative effects of which can also be seen in the society readers of the template! I come to the main topic, the former Punjab government launched the e-libraries project in January 2018 in collaboration with the Punjab Information and Technology Board and Punjab Sports Board. Later, e-libraries with state-of-the-art technology were formally launched in 20 districts of Punjab till May 2018 where young people away from reading books were encouraged to read e-books as well as take advantage of multimedia technology...
New staff hired in libraries to provide employment to educated unemployed youth. In a few months, the staff of e-libraries organized the best awareness programs through their efforts in the multimedia halls built in these buildings....
People from different departments are active in this organization E-libraries have made it easier for students and youth to connect with libraries around the world. Consistent literary events and seminars have also attracted young people to e-libraries. Talking to Mohammad Ibrahim Warraich, in-charge of e-library, Raqim Al-Huroof said that the government of the day has hinted to lay off the staff working in these libraries by June 30, 2020. 140 employees of 20 libraries in Punjab will have office till June 30 An evacuation order has also been issued. If we look at the performance of e-libraries across Punjab, there is no doubt that the staff of these libraries, in the first few months of their employment, have attracted hundreds of young people from different walks of life.
